FAFSA Update
Senior Students and Parents/Guardians! STUDENTS WHO COMPLETE THEIR FSA ID BY DECEMBER 21, will be eligible to enter a raffle to WIN A PAIR OF AIRPODS! Click this link to enter the raffle: https://forms.gle/beE7CCytp3kEE2Py5
The 2024-2025 FAFSA will be open by December, 31. The FAFSA or the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, determines the student’s eligibility for financial assistance to college and many other two-year programs (community college and trade school). To access the form, both the student AND a parent/guardian will need to create an FSA ID.
To create your FSA ID, go to https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch and create an account. Students will need their social security number and date of birth to create their ID. Parents/Guardians can create an ID even if they do not have a social security number! If a student does not have a social security number, there are other forms, such as the AACTUS, that can help them receive aid.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please reach out to Ms. Reagan! Email her at rwoitowitz@east-haven.k12.ct.us.

We have articles on the new math peer tutoring program and how we celebrate Thanksgiving in East Haven. We have a new music review of Leith Ross on Buzz Beats, a new puppy appears on HoneyPaws, would you rather questions on The Hive Mind, and the best Christmas movies (according to Bella) on Keepin' It Reel.
On our new site you can also search for and easily find articles by all of our reporters based on their staff profiles and tags related to various subjects. Take a dive into our articles from last year, which we transferred over as well.
Finally, take a look at our new feature section: Around the Hive and send us your own photos that you would like to be featured.
