Happy Monday Greenmont Families!
Good Evening -
Welcome to a new week!
I want to thank everyone for sending their children to school ready for some outdoor time. We really appreciate the support and teamwork! The temperatures this week do not look as promising but again, we will do our best to ensure our students get some fresh air time as long as we can do it safely.
ACCESS Testing - This week our English Language Learners will continue their ACCESS testing. Ms. Leary will be facilitating this state required assessment for her students. The ACCESS is for select students only who are identified through our Home Language Survey and a screening process.
iReady Assessments - Our students in Grades K-5 will also continue their iReady assessment cycle for both ELA and Math. This assessment takes place on their Chromebooks during class time. The window will run through February allowing for all students to have ample time to complete the required assessments. We are excited to see the growth that our students have made!
The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education recently made updates to the Individualized Education Program (IEP) form. If interested, you can join one of two meeting dates to learn more about it. Informational Link: Parent-Guardian Training New IEP
Project Safe Childhood Presentation - This presentation is for adults who wish to learn how to keep kids safe and secure online. It is brought to you by the collaboration of the Atty General's Office and the FBI.

Our Community and Caring value for the month of January is Respect. Discussions around what respect looks like and feels like has been built into Morning Meetings and SEL lessons.
