Dear Muskego Lakes Families,
It's hard to believe that the end of the third quarter is Friday, April 1st. With spring break next week, it's an excellent time for students to check infinite campus, work to get caught up or make a plan to complete any missing work. The goal is for students to submit anything missing before the end of the quarter, and student report cards are sent out.
Speaking of Spring Break, on behalf of the teachers and staff at Muskego Lakes, we hope families have a safe, relaxing break. We look forward to seeing students back at Muskego Lakes refreshed and ready to finish the year strong!
With Love,
Rachel Rydzewski & Nancy Pasch

Grade 8 Celebration Photo Slideshow Information
The Graduation Planning Committee wants to get things started so that we can put
together something extra memorable for our children as we close the chapter on
Muskego Lakes Middle School. We want to include EVERY classmate in the slide
show. If you could please help us out with a couple of items:
**We do understand that some parents may not want their child in the slide show and
may have signed a waiver at the beginning of the school year to not have pictures or
video taken of their child. If you DO NOT want your child in the slide show please send
an email to MLMSClassof2026@gmail.com and we will abide by your wishes. We are
using the email you send as your waiver.
PICTURES NEEDED:
If you have any pictures from school related activities, sports,
field trips of their middle school years, please send the pictures, with your child’s
name and the names of any others included in the photo, to our celebration email:
MLMSclassof2026@gmail.com and please send no more than 10 pictures.
We reserve the right not to use all photos that are sent in, depending on how the project
develops. All photos need to be submitted no later than Saturday, April 30 st .
I will be taking pictures in the homerooms. All 8 th graders will be included in the slide
show, unless otherwise communicated.
**NOTE: If your child did not attend MLMS for 5 th -7 th grades, send pictures from their
prior school activities. Also, please send a separate email if your child did not attend
MLMS in 5 th grade.
Please reach out to Melinda Felts with any questions at MLMSclassof2026@gmail.com

Thank you so much for all your help in making this a celebration to remember!
8th Grade Promotion Ceremony Update
April 5th Referendum Information
Did you know?
Lakeview Elementary is the only Muskego-Norway school that does not have a dedicated gymnasium. Currently, our gym doubles as a cafeteria. Check out how this process works by watching our time-lapsed video The plans for a new gymnasium would optimize scheduling for phy ed, provide additional time for student lunch, and afford the community opportunities to utilize a regulation-size gym comparable to Mill Valley Elementary and Bay Lane Elementary.
Did you know?
We have over 40,000 hours of community-based facility use throughout the district. The facility plan includes an “Indoor Practice Facility” addition at Muskego High School. This facility would serve phy ed during the day and be available for all co-curricular activities in the evening. This facility would open opportunities for youth sports and rec programs to have greater access to our gymnasiums. This facility would also provide space for students and athletes to practice during winter and inclement weather.
For more information, please visit our website, which includes an FAQ, and feel free to attend any of the Community Tours:

Mid-Week Munchies for Staff at MLMS
Speak Up, Speak Out Wisconsin
Our staff at Muskego Lakes take threats seriously. We are grateful for our partnership with students and parents as they continue to be invested in their school culture as we all work together to keep our schools safe. We encourage all families to talk about how a child should respond to any threat or concern, regardless of the source or legitimacy. If a student or parent is not comfortable going directly to a district staff member, they can use Wisconsin's Speak Up, Speak Out that will notify a school administrator and/or police authorities immediately. Speak Up, Speak Out! Speak Up, Speak Out is managed by the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of School Safety.
You may make a report by visiting the website, using your smartphone by downloading the SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT app from the Apple Store and Google Play, or by calling 1-800-MY-SUSO-1 to speak to a resource center analyst.
