FROM MRS. HUBBARD, PRINCIPAL
What an exciting week at GWS! It was teacher appreciation week, and our staff members were showered with love and appreciation all week long. We received warm words of thanks, sweet treats, festive floral arrangements, and beautiful books for our classroom libraries. We are blessed to serve in such a loving and supportive school community. Thank you to our students and their families, especially our PTO members, for the kindness and appreciation shown to us throughout the school year.
Happy Mothers' Day to all moms, and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

FROM THE PTO
The musical walk game for SpringFest!! We are looking for volunteers to bake and decorate cakes for this fun game! Please stop by the school office to pick up a cake pan. 1 box of cake mix fills 2 cake pans. If anyone would like to bake allergy friendly cakes (gluten/nut or dairy free) this would be appreciated. Cakes can be brought with you to SpringFest.
What is the musical walk?
As the music plays, students walk or dance around the circle, stepping from one numbered circle to another. As soon as the music stops, everyone stands on the number they are closest to. Then a number is drawn, read out loud, and the person standing on that number gets a cake!
