CELEBRATIONS!
Great things are happening at WCS!
It is with a tremendous amount of pride that I announce that the following former Wildcats were inducted into the National Honor Society at Morse High School. This year our Wildcats represented half of the total number of inductees. I want to thank our students, their families, our staff and our entire school community for the role they each played in building such a positive foundation for their success. We often say that it takes a village to raise a child; I am very proud to be a part of this village.
In alphabetical order they are:
Olive Beeton, Grace Chubbuck, Allie Coombs, Ranier Eich, Kim Inocando, Case Jacobs, Thomas MacMahan, Madi Malcolm, Edie McKay, Sarah Ouellette, Michaela Pettersen, Lillian Pomerleau, Apple Smith, & Lily Wright.

CLYNK FOR RETURNABLES!
Did you know that Woolwich Central School has a Clynk account? This program allows you to drop off your cans and bottles at any participating Hannaford, and have the money donated right to WCS! Please reach out to the office if you are interested and we can get you the necessary bags and stickers!

DID YOU KNOW...
"Research repeatedly shows that a well-funded and fully staffed school library with a state-certified school librarian is an integral component of a student’s education. Across the United States, studies have demonstrated that students in schools with effective school library programs learn more, get better grades, and score higher on standardized tests than their peers in schools without comparable resources."(ALA) At WCS we are extremely fortunate to have a librarian who is nationally board certified, a time-intensive process that requires renewal every 5 years! In addition to checking out books, Ms. Luchies works hard to teach our students how to search for accurate information in texts and media, explore computer coding, and develop a love of reading, while helping them become responsible citizens in a global-digital world.
