District Update - April 10

Superintendent's Message
I hope you all had a safe and relaxing Spring Break. I look forward to seeing everyone in our hallways looking refreshed and ready to finish our school year strong! At this point in the calendar, we begin seeing the "light at the end of the tunnel" and counting down the days until summer, but it’s important to remember the amount of work and focus we’ve all put forth over the course of this year to reach this point. Now is when we prove our strength and resolve by pushing forward, ending the year in a way that will carry us through summer and into the 2023-2024 school year.
To that end, we have an update on some good news from earlier in the year. As a proud recipient of an Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) grant, we have upgraded building security systems and have had plans to re-outfit keys/fobs to district entrances. While the schools were empty for Spring Break, we successfully completed this update at no cost to the district. The safety of our staff and students is our top priority. As always, we will continue to reinforce that commitment, ensuring the safest possible learning environment for students to learn and grow.
See you all tomorrow!
Take care,
Dr. Willingham
