Check out highlights for the Week of April 15th-22nd
Sparkle of the week!
- This Friday (April 21st) BCSVA will host Dr. Jackson and our Central Services Staff during their visit to our school!
- Dr. Jackson and crew have visited 43 of 45 schools within our Buncombe County School System thus far!
- This is part of Dr. Jackson's Listening and Learning Adventure. He has shared that each school visit has allowed him to learn more about how vast and varied the opportunities are for our students during the course of a school day on each of our campuses.
- We appreciate the hard work Dr. Baldwin engaged with for many years as he led our school system!
- Welcome, Dr. Jackson!

End of Year (EOY)- MAP Screenings!
What is the NWEA MAP test for?
**Using MAP Growth as part of a comprehensive and balanced assessment plan, teachers can confidently tailor instruction to challenge every student, whether they are below, at, or above grade level.**MAP Growth student reports also present realistic learning goals by subject areas so that,
through a teacher’s guidance, students can individually see their progress and be inspired
to take charge of their own learning!
