Socially Distant, Emotionally Connected Socially Distant, Emotionally Connected

Letter from Superintendent, Dr. Ann Pedersen

Dear Lawrence Families,

Lawrence Pride has been with the school district for many years, but this crisis has us feeling it more strongly. Social distancing is imperative during this health crisis. We know the strain and stress felt by everyone, in particular our social students. We thank them, and you for following social distancing. Keep it up and students, keep up with your schoolwork. Please be sure to check the NEWS section on our school website for updates!

May each and every member of our community, along with their friends and families, be healthy, safe, and strong through this crisis.

Stay healthy,

Superintendent Dr. Ann Pedersen

Bright Spots of Virtual Learning

This 5th Grade Class with 100% attendance in a LIVE Google Meet class. With a new remote schedule, students finish each live class daily with some math "brain work." All 25 students worked on "4nums.com." Students use the four numbers displayed and use different operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to make a total of 24. Students eagerly come up with different equations to reach a solution of 24 quickly and share.
