Rollcall Mural Unveiling!
You're invited!
Please Join Us On October 11th!
In February, 2017 George Elliott Clarke, Canada's parliamentarian poet laureate, wrote his poem, “Rollcall” for Black History/African-Heritage month. One year later, Madame Rea’s Grade 2 class created a mural version of the poem in Sharpies and acrylic paint. The mural of 700 names of significant people from Viola Desmond to Drake is now installed and it’s time to celebrate!
We would be honoured to have you join us. If you are unable to attend, please consider sending your regrets, which will be shared with the students.
