Media Evaluation Plan

For this question I will look at all the different types of thriller conventions and I will assess whether my production follows these, using sample models of successful thriller films in the market. I will look at the following conventions:

• Plot
• Editing
• Theories
• Camera angles and shots

These will all come together to give the audience the idea that this film is actually a thriller film, and keep the audience entertained throughout the production.

For this question I will look at the 5 main social groups:

• Family
• Gender
• Sexuality
• Race
• Social class

and assess where my film fits into these and how we present each group.

For this question I will look at three main film distributors and producers and look at how they could potentially distribute and aid financially and any other way possible. Finding the possible company that would present my film will be difficult to find as I will have to research the company and look at their portfolio of films to see if my film fits in with their films and genres they prefer.

For this question we will look at our audience range and assess how we attracted them, kept them attracted and entertained through the film. Focusing on our audience throughout we will comment on each way we presented the film to them throughout other media formats such as posters and trailers. We will then move onto who wouldn't watch our film and what age group they are and how we could potentially address that age gap and get them interested in our film.

For this question i will asses all the different types of technologies I have used (hardware, software and techniques) and see how I used them effectively and what I learnt from using them such as skills, methods and techniques on how to actually use them properly. I have learnt many skills from using new technologies such as Final Cut Pro and I will begin to talk about how this has helped me and what I have learnt.

Lastly this question will be me looking at our preliminary task and how we have improved from it, I will assess how successful we have been making our new production and how we have improved from past problems and how we moved forward with us making the opening film.
