Principal's Message
Happy October!
I hope you all are enjoying the beautiful weather. We have some important updates to share with you about upcoming events and reminders:
Yearbook Sale: Exciting news! Yearbooks are now available for purchase. Take a look at the attached flyer for more details.
No School on Monday: Please be reminded that there will be no school on Monday. Our dedicated teachers will be utilizing this time for professional development to enhance the educational experience for our students.
Monster Movie Festival: Get ready for a Spooktacular time! This Friday, October 13th, the Parent-Teacher Committee (PTC) is hosting a Monster Movie Festival. Join us for a thrilling evening of fun and entertainment. See the flyer below for more information.
Donations Needed: We are currently in need of donations of girls' clothing to keep in the office for emergency situations. Your generosity in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Drop-off Reminder: For the safety of our students, please remember not to drop them off at school before 8:00 am, as we do not have supervision in place before that time.
VIP for September: Congratulation to Daniela Castellanos for being our VIP (Volunteer Improving Pinewood) for the month of September! We really appreciate your support of our school!
Thank you all for your continued support in creating a positive and enriching environment for our students. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us.
Sincerely,
Heather Minton

Substitute Opportunities!
We're looking to expand our Substitute Pool for this year. This is not just for people with teaching credentials. We have opportunities for all types of positions ranging from teachers, yard duties, library technicians, instructional aides, and custodial. The great thing about being a substitute is that you can be very flexible with your work schedule. If you are interested in learning more about subbing for our district, call the District Office at (530)644-5416. Start now to be ready by the start of next school year.
