This is Allison Woods, Assistant Superintendent for Exceptional Learners for MSD of Warren Township. We are enjoying having in person students back in buildings and hope you and your family are staying healthy and safe this winter.

Due to new legislation, we are now required to provide parents of students with IEPs, ILPs, service plans and 504's in the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade, this notice by February 1st. If you have an email on file in Synergy the memo is included in this message. If you do not, the notice will be mailed to you this week. In summary, the memo states that not all accommodations that students use daily are allowable accommodations on state assessments such as ILEARN and IREAD. You can find your child's accommodations for state assessments in their current IEP, ILP, service plan or 504 plan. Please reach out to your child's school if you have any questions about testing accommodations.

WIDA testing will begin on January 11, 2021 for all identified English Learner students. 1st - 4th grade students will begin testing the week of January 18th when they return to in-person instruction. If your child’s learning environment is virtual, you will be contacted to arrange a date for testing. You can bring your child to school on their designated testing date or your school can arrange transportation. Please complete this form if your child will require transportation. Please note that if your child will be using bus transportation, they will remain at school for the entire day. If you have questions, please contact Ms. Cooper.

The funds will begin to be mailed out to your home on January 31, 2021. It is essential that you keep your card, as additional P-EBT assistance will be loaded back onto this same card. Moorhead technology help desk is located at door 11 at the rear of the building near the playground. Please drive through the gate on the west side of the building and, after parking, enter door 11 for assistance. The Technology team will keep the same hours for the help desk: Monday through Friday (except holidays) from 10am to 2pm.

If you have any technology needs, you can access one of the following supports:

• Technology Help Desk at Moorhead Community Resource Center from 10:00 - 2:00, Monday - Friday. iPad concerns should be directed here.

• All three Intermediate Middle Schools during school hours for chromebook help.

• Chromedesk at the High School during 1st and 2nd period.

• Submit a help ticket through IncidentIQ by clicking on Technology under the Explore Tab and then select Parent Tech Info.

If you have any academic needs, you can access the following supports:

• Contact your child's teacher(s) for support. Teacher contact information is available on each school’s website under the Explore Tab, then select STAFF.
