Welcome Back!

Welcome back to the 2016-2017 school year!!!! Jean Ann and I have been busy presenting, benchmarking, and planning for this school year, and we are only two weeks in! Please contact us with any curricular needs or questions. We LOVE to hear from you. Just remember email is the best mode of communication for us. Even if you see and chat with us in your hallway be sure to follow that up with an email. Our hearts are willing to remember everything...the brain...not so much.

Parapro Support Nights

A night geared specifically for our Paras! Topics of discussion will include how to help with classroom management, data collecting, review materials, and some tricks of the trade. Clock hours provided.

G.A.I.N.

GAIN is a support system for those supervising or providing interventions to students. All faculty members involved in any aspect of RtI are welcome to attend! Clock Hours provided

We love seeing all of you and sharing what we have learned and used in the classroom with you. Below is a list of other workshops we can offer to any interested group of at least 5. Clock hours provided for all.

Model Drawing - Solve word problems using a proven step by step model. Complements Common Core math beautifully!

Four Square and 6-Trait Writing - I hated teaching writing. Mainly because I didn't feel I knew how to break it down. These programs do that and made me want to teach writing!

Goal Writing - Are your IEP goals meaningful? Are they measurable? And most importantly, are they manageable?

AIMSweb 101 - We will work together to learn all the ins and outs of the AIMSweb program. From progress monitoring, computer based scoring, benchmarking to how to interpret the data. This is a great workshop for first timers and for those needing a review!

Visualizing and Verbalizing - This unique program helps students visualize what they are reading to improve their comprehension!!
