ELA- Mr. Jones
This week students read another short story, “Lose Now, Pay Later” and answered a question on how they would react if they were a character in the story. This was answered as a post on their blog pages.
Next week we will cap off a year of reading and writing as we prepare for summer break.
Science- Mrs. Creath
Students are learning about climate change, how COVID-19 has affected the environment and how they can help fight against climate change. Students decided upon a solution that they believed in and that is do-able. They then made a 3 minute video explaining their solution and convincing others that it is a good solution. After that, they responded to two of their classmates’ videos. It’s been great to “see” the kids again in these videos!
Next week we will be doing a reflection piece and a miniature boat-building competition!
