District 104 Healthy Eating Event-January 18, 2024
Cheers to a happy and healthy new year!
- Some of our students returned from vacation with souvenirs! Many complaints of sore throats, coughs and runny noses!
- The "Health Services" tab on the SD104 webpage is up and running! School health documents, health related registration information, and a directory of nursing staff can be found here! https://www.sd104.us/page/health-services
- Hand washing is the single most important way to prevent the spread of viruses and communicable diseases. Use soap, warm water and disposable paper towels and wash your hands frequently.
Cover coughs and sneezes and avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Germs spread easily this way!
- Improve air quality with air purifiers or open windows for fresh air! Well-ventilated rooms help reduce the numbers of airborne germs inside.
- “Once a week, take a peek” Please check your child’s hair weekly to prevent a lice outbreak in your home.
- Do your best to eat well, get adequate sleep, and exercise habits to stay healthy this holiday season!
- Dental day will be at HMS February 22nd there is still time to sign up using the link below!
Signing up for free dental services at school is as easy! Use the QR code on the flyer below, create an account, provide your child’s information on the fillable form & sign using DocuSign. You are able to save a copy of the signed form too.
