Why is Silicon Valley the nest for inspiring ideas that turn into businesses that change the world? How are great innovative companies founded and developed in Silicon Valley? Questions like these will be answered in this Master Class.
Marti and Marisa will start the Master Class by reviewing what Silicon Valley is all about: how it started and why it is the world's Innovation hub. They will then tell their eye opening stories of how they are both Lawyers and Pioneers in Innovation, constantly reinventing their ways of working in the startup and legal environment

Martí Manent
Martí is a professor at the IE Law School where he teaches Abogado 2.0. Martí served as the Director of IE’s inaugural Legal Bridge to Silicon Valley. Martí is the founder and CEO of Derecho.com and elAbogado.com the largest law firm directory in Spanish. Prior to starting his own business, Martí practiced law in the corporate and financial department of Garrigues Abogados. Martí is a graduate of CEU Abat Oliva University and IE Law School.
Marisa Moret
Marisa has over 20 years of experience as a lawyer and advisor to businesses, entrepreneurs and government officials. Through her extensive network in the Bay Area, Marisa was instrumental in advising IE and coordinating the inaugural edition of Legal Bridge to Silicon Valley which enabled participants to meet with leaders at some of the most innovative and globally recognized businesses. Marisa's contacts and connections in the business and political arenas are a true asset to the Legal Bridge program and give participants unique access to some of the best minds in the business, technology and political worlds. Marisa is a graduate of Georgetown University and UCLA Law School
About the Program: "Legal Bridge to Silicon Valley"
Participants will gain inspiration and ideas from the best to become entrepreneurs, or to foster innovation within their companies by acquiring a 360 view of how business is made in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area.
It is an interactive, hands-on experience where you will see how business leaders, managers and lawyers run their companies; how market forces influence their decisions, and what they perceive as current and future challenges and opportunities.
This year, the program will be held from the 24th to the 28th of March.
