Future E-Learning Days at Blue River Valley Jr/Sr High School:

As a reminder, the requirements for e-learning days from the state of Indiana have changed this school year. With winter season upon us, please be aware of the changes to our Non-Planned E-Learning Days.

Jr/Sr High Student Synchronous E-Learning Requirements:

1. Students must log on and attend live instruction through Google Meet from 8:30 am - 11:55 am. They will spend 25 minutes in each of their seven classes. Attendance is required to be taken for the state.
2. Outside of the live-instruction times, students are required to complete e-learning assignments as they have done in previous e-learning days.
3. If there are any questions in regards to the e-learning assignments, please contact the teacher via email.

Below is the Jr/Sr High schedule for a synchronous e-learning day.

As we begin the start of second semester, here are a few reminders to help the school year to continue to run smoothly.

• Sick Child at School - If your child gets sick or feels sick at school, please remind them that the protocol is to report to the nurse in the office first. She will document symptoms and then inform parents when their child needs to go home. It is important that we are consistent and following protocols. Thank you for your assistance with this.
• Car Riders Pick-Up Line - Students need to be picked up in the circle drive outside of the main entrance only (Door 1). Students are NOT permitted to walk across Viking Trail to get in cars parked at Irvin Park. This is a safety concern for our students as well as the drivers. Please help us by reminding your child and waiting patiently in the pick-up line.
• Attendance - Please make sure if your child will not be at school that you call the school and let us know their name and reason for absence. As a reminder, we are following the Attendance Policy outlined in our Student Handbook this year.

As we have begun second semester, please keep an eye on your student's lunch account and add money as needed. You can put money in his or her account using cash, check, or My School Bucks (there is a fee).
