10 + 2 Update

• Please know I am very sorry for my absences this week. My daughter Amelia has been sick with an ear infection and virus and is working hard to recover. Please know I absolutely hate missing school and only do so when it is absolutely necessary. Thank you for understanding!
• Homework Refresher - We have a very flexible and relaxed homework policy. Homework comes home in the Friday folder. During the week your child can complete a variety of activities. Please just initial next to the tasks they completed. Then they return the packet on the following Friday and I record their points. When they have reached a landmark (100,150, 200, etc.) amount of points we will celebrate in some way.
• Work habits checklists are updated! Please be sure to check your child's checklist at your nearest convenience.

We have been working very hard to gain and practice a variety of multiplication problems and strategies. Each student should have an efficient and accurate strategy for 2 by 1 and 3 by 1 multiplication problems. This week we continued to work on building our understanding and strategies for 2 by 2 multiplication. Please encourage your child to demonstrate their skills at home. Thanks!
