RES Weekly Buzz

We have enjoyed visiting classrooms and seeing students focused on their work and engaged in lessons. It has been wonderful to see so many smiling faces and raised hands; students are asking questions, sharing their answers and their thinking around the lessons. Students are showing their best selves throughout the day, which is evident by smiles, greetings, visible manners, and the level of respect they show toward each other and their teachers. We love to see these wonderful things here at RES!
We ended the week with a Community Meeting that showcased some of our 3rd grade interviews of our staff. They did a fantastic job, and we are proud of their hard work and their incredible interview skills! We also celebrated our Running Club and the members who participated in the Massachusetts Elementary School Cross Country Championship this past weekend. Congratulations to our runners who brought home a plaque celebrating their team wins. The girls took first place and the boys took home third. Thank you to Erin Canniff for her leadership and dedication to our students.
Our parent conferences will take place on Tuesday, December 6th and Wednesday, December 7th. Look for an email from your child's teacher that will give you the chance to sign up for a conference time. Teacher SignUp Genius links are included in our calendar below.
Since next week is a short week, our next Weekly Buzz will be sent on December 2nd. This week's newsletter covers the next two weeks. Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday next week.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Amy & Jodi
