- This is like your staff drive for Edmodo.

- Storage is unlimited, but a single file cannot be larger than 100 MB
- Student version of this is called Backpack

Direct Message
- This is the equivalent of an email
- Students cannot direct message each other
- Parents can see the message

Send a Note
- You want to send a message, file or link to your group.
- Use this if you are just sharing resources.
- Do not use this if you are expecting to keep track of students in any way.
- Remember to add your parent groups if you want them to see it.

Send an Alert
- This is for a short, important announcement.
- Max of 140 characters
- Students, parents or teachers can sign up for text notifications in Edmodo and alerts are the ones they would get a a text for
- Parents can automatically see the alert

Send a Poll
- Great way to get immediate feedback
- Teachers cannot see which student gave which response
- If you post a poll to all your groups at once, the poll will accumulate throughout the day. If you want to see results by period, post the poll one class at a time
- Parents cannot see polls and you can't assign it to them either
- Students can only answer once.
Send an Assignment
- This will be used when you are wanting to collect something from our students and you want to keep track of every student.
- You might be collecting a comment, response, pic collage, iMovie, presentation, essay, a generated link, etc.
- You can grade, comment and annotate each assignment
- There are several ways to see what has been turned in: notifications, looking at the post, or going to the Progress section of Edmodo
- Parents can see this automatically
