Gold Fight Win Day is September 15th
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and Humble ISD is excited to continue the partnership with three local non-profits, Addi's Faith Foundation, L3 Foundation, and Mothers Against Cancer, to support families battling pediatric cancer.
GOLD FIGHT WIN Day in Humble ISD is Friday, September 15
You can show your support by wearing a GFW shirt (or any gold shirt) on September 15, which is Humble ISD's Gold Fight Win Day! Families can purchase GFW shirts at Ace Hardware at both Kingwood and Atascocita locations and Pretty Little Things in Kingwood. Campuses or organizations can make bulk orders (25 or more) here.
The Humble ISD Gold Fight Win football games are:
KHS vs AHS - September 21
KPHS vs Crosby - September 23
HHS vs SCHS - September 29
We would like to honor Humble ISD students who are currently facing the challenge of cancer or are cancer survivors at one of the football games listed above. If you have a child that would like to be honored, please complete this link. Any questions about this opportunity can be sent to Jerri.Monbaron@humbleisd.net.
Visit humbleisd.net/GoldFightWin for more details.

ART MASTERPIECE ROLLS OUT SEPTEMBER 25TH and several classrooms are still in need of parent volunteers!
Art Masterpiece is a volunteer-based art enrichment and education program we proudly offer here at Greentree Elementary. Our goal is to provide additional art exposure and education to each student ensuring their appreciation of art flourishes. Our volunteers (ie YOU) facilitate six, one-hour lessons in your child's classroom each school year. You work with your child's teacher to select a schedule that suits both of you. The Art Masterpiece lessons, projects, and materials are all supplied for you. Volunteers do not need to have an art education or background. Join us as we instill a passion for creativity and a love for art! We promise it’s easy and lots of fun! Visit this link to get involved with Art Masterpiece: https://www.gtepta.com/volunteer2023
Email kristiann.sullivan@gmail.com if you have any additional questions about the program.
PTA Volunteers Needed
There are many opportunities to volunteer at GTE: classroom parent, grade level classroom parent lead, cafeteria helper, hospitality, Fall Festival, and so MUCH more! Most are short term commitments. To learn more information and sign up to volunteer, visit

Bike Rodeo is Friday, September 29th for Kindergarten-2nd Grade.
Please join us for a great event designed to teach the basics of bike safety and promote helmet awareness. Plan to bring your child's bike and helmet in the morning, each clearly labeled with your child's name, grade and teacher. Painter tape works great for this. We will have volunteers on hand to assist with bike drop off in the back door car rider line. Only those children with helmets will be permitted to ride through the obstacle course.
Bikes must be picked up in the back parking lot after dismissal ends at 3:30.
Visitors and volunteers will need to check into the Front Office to receive a visitor's badge. A drivers license will be needed.
