Please keep in mind that phone communication with our attendance office is crucial when picking your child up from school, especially for last minute appointments during the school day. The safety of your child is important to us, therefore, if you contact the school by phone or in person, school staff will relay that your child is absent to the bus driver. This will ensure that we can keep your child safe at school and also help other students get home in a timely manner.

Our first Knowledge Bowl meet competing against 10 other middle schools will take place on Thurs. Dec. 15 at Shakopee Middle School East. Our teams will be released from school early to make it there by 4:00 p.m. Knowledge Bowl is still recruiting interested students to form another team. All 6th, 7th and 8th graders are welcome to join this fun, fast paced academic competition. We meet most Wednesdays after school through Feb. and will participate in two more meets. Please contact KowledgeBowl Coach, Mrs. Carroll, with questions.

The Asian Culture Club will be rescheduling our ACC Meeting to next Wednesday, December 7th. It will still be at the same time (3:15-4:45pm) and location (Room 201).

Just a reminder that the The Asian Culture Club at CRMS is an organization that supports API cultural awareness in the community. We encourage a diverse membership of all students in order to promote a safe and inviting space for all to learn about Asian culture.

9th Grade Registration (23-24 school year) Information Night at CRHS

December 6th @ 6:30pm

Please join the Coon Rapids High School Administration, Counseling Department, Leaders of the BioMedical Sciences & Engineering and Department Leads for an information night about registering for high school. We will be discussing general high school information, graduation requirements, elective course options and the registration timeline and process. There will also be a parent presentation about the Biomedical Sciences and Engineering program and how students will be exposed to STEM-related careers and experiences through their high school academics.

Teachers and counselors will be available to talk through any concerns or answer any questions. For more information, please call CRHS at 763-506-7100.

Order your Coon Rapids Middle School 2022-2023 Yearbook today! Our yearbook will include color pages that vibrantly capture school memories. It comes with a sturdy soft cover that has the school name and year imprinted on the front. The cost for the yearbook is only $17! For an additional cost, you can add on yearbook extras such as: current events insert, hard cover, autograph insert, and stickers to decorate the yearbook. Order your yearbook online (school ID code is: 12179923). Orders are due by December 14, 2022 (yearbook price increases to $19 on December 15th).

Coon Rapids Middle School will be holding monthly food-shelf distributions. These distributions will be held on the third Thursday of every month. If you are unable to attend a distribution but have a need for food shelf support, you may contact your grade level social worker to schedule an appointment.
