How to Find Your GPA
How to determine a letter grade and your GPA
Grading Scale
Each teacher at PPOS sets their grade book up a little differently. When you get you/your student’s weekly progress report some classes have a percent and letter grade next to them. Some strictly have a percent.
Here is how the percent break down into letter grades at PPOS:
80% - 100% = A
70% - 79% = B
69% and Below = NC
How to find your GPA
Step 1 : Add up the points (see right) for each of your final grades. To determine your overall GPA use the final grades from each class you have taken in High School.
Step 2: Divide by the number of grades you have.
Example: 4+3+4+2+0=13 points
Divided by the number of classes (5)
13/5 = 2.6 GPA
