Happy Last Day of School!

I would like to give a huge Thank You to everyone at Santa Rita, students, parents and staff for making this year a wonderful and successful year. Even with so much change and uncertainty, we came together to solve problems and feel a sense of community that had been missing during our crazy last two years.

Here are important dates for summer and to start the new school year:

• Sat Aug 6 - 10am - Del Medio

• Thurs Aug 11 - 5pm - Santa Rita

• Wed, August 17, First day of 2022-23 School Year

• Bobcat Strong Parent Coffee 8:30-9:30

• Saturday, August 20 - Bobcat Chase

• Friday, Sept 16th - Grandfriends Day

• Saturday, Oct 22 - Witches’ Delight

I hope everyone has a relaxing and energizing summer filled with lots of family time and sunshine.

As COVID case rates throughout Santa Clara County are rising, wearing a mask indoors is strongly recommended. We ask all students, teachers and staff to consider wearing a mask indoors to prevent the spread of illness as we close out this amazing school year.

If you or your child feel sick, please stay home, notify the school office, and test immediately. Your child will need to be cleared before returning to school. Notify the school of a positive result. Thank you for your ongoing partnership to keep our schools safe and healthy.

MEDICATION REMINDER: PICK UP STUDENT’S MEDICATION

From School Office

A reminder that if your child has medications/health supplies at school that must be picked up on June 8, 2022 from the office. We cannot store medications over the summer. If you are leaving before school ends, please pick up medications early. An adult must pick up medication.

Thank you, Principal Rafferty, Santa Rita PTA leadership, teachers, office staff, and parents for supporting LAEF this school year and helping raise over $2.8M for LASD schools.

Together, we funded Santa Rita teachers and staff for STEM, computer science, PE, art, music, library, and mental health counseling services. Your efforts directly impacted the quality of each Santa Rita student’s education this school year. We hope you have a nice summer.
