We will be celebrating our student's academic achievements this Wednesday at 1:30pm with an Honour Roll celebration. The ceremony should take approximately 1 1/2hrs. We hope to see you there.

Sale of our Retro. uniforms will take place at Parent/Teacher interviews, March 9th.

Q.M.O. group is offering a FREE trip to one lucky grade 6 or 7 student, please see the poster below.

Our School Council is promoting the sale of first aid kits, forms have been handed out by homeroom teachers. All money raised will help support student events/activities.

Sale of our retro. sport uniforms will be on sale in the Atrium during the Parent/Teacher interviews on March 9th. All proceeds will be used to replace some of our current aging uniforms.

48 students had a great time travelling to Edmonton for the annual Hockey Hooky event.

Grade 8 boys worked on non-verbal communication games in BEST this week.

To wrap up the "Structures & Forces" unit, all grade 7 Science

students will take part in testing their structures on Tuesday, March 7th during period 4. Students were tasked with designing and building a cantilever structure (30 cm high & 10 cm out) that can hold a raw egg for 1 minute. Teams will start testing around 11:30 with Mrs. Benson as the "EGG Mistress of Ceremonies". All parents/guardians are invited as it should be an EGGxciting EGGventure!

Our French Immersion students celebrated Carnaval with students from Westhaven Elementary. Fun was had by all!

QMO students will be fundraising and selling pizza at $4/slice, water for $1 and Kernels popcorn for $3/bag, earning money towards their trip. We will be located conveniently in the atrium on March 9, for the duration of parent teacher interviews. Sales will be cash only. Thank you in advance!
