Assalamu alaikum parents,
Alhumdullilah we have approached the end of a successful school year and look forward to celebrating the hard work of all our students at our upcoming 2023 graduation ceremony on this coming Sunday, June 4th in sha Allah from 10:00 - 1:00 PM. It has been an eventful and busy year, filled with many celebrations and triumphs and I am very proud of progress we have made this year with the dedication and hard work of our staff, students and parents. We look forward to continually growing together in shaa Allah with your valuable feedback, support and partnership.
Our morning ASSEMBLY was led by Imam Azfar on May 14th where he talked to students about Summer Goals, and by Sr Nancy Romanchek (our School Nurse at IFN Clinic) on May 21s where she gave students some tips on how to have a productive and healthy summer.
Our students participated in their Final Exams on May 14th and 21st and we celebrated the end of the school year with Field Day where our staff and students enjoyed a half day of outdoor games and activities. We are SO thankful to all the parents who volunteered and came out to help on Field Day. We truly appreciate their time and support!!
We also celebrated our staff on May 21st at our After School Staff Appreciation Event. We are again very grateful to all the parents who generously contributed towards teacher/staff gifts which enabled us to give tokens of appreciation to all our staff, administration and volunteers for their dedication and service to IFNSS and our missing to provide Islamic education to our youth and help them connect with the masjid and muslim community.
As we bid farewell to our students for the summer break, I encourage you all to relax, recharge, and spend quality time with your loved ones. Our students will return to Sunday school on September 10th, and I am excited to welcome them back for another incredible year of learning and growth together in shaa Allah.
