Multicultural Family Night
We had a great turn out for Multicultural Family Night. All attendees were able to participate in the fun by receiving books, raffles and win a prize. We thank all those who were involved in putting together this event and look forward to next year's Multicultural Night!

We did it together!!!
It is hard to believe that we are wrapping up the 2022 -20'23 academic year. Everyone worked hard to make this year special and productive.
We wish all our families a very happy and relaxed summer vacation.

News from OPR
State Fair
Our fourth grade students enjoyed sharing their research for the State Fair. The kids answered questions about their respective states from faculty, family members, and other OPR students.
It was a great learning experience, and the kids really had fun!

News from Johnson Middle School
Johnson Middle School students had an end of the year pizza party with Mrs. Burke and Ms. Atisha.
Principal Morgenweck was in attendance and received a retirement gift from the students.
Ms. Atisha attended a Walpole Eagles soccer game and got to watch a Johnson Middle School sixth grader, J.C., play a stellar soccer game!

Mass Mentoring Night at Fenway
A few students and staff from our Walpole METCO program joined hundreds of other students from the Greater Boston area in Mentoring Night at Fenway hosted by Mass Mentoring Partnerships.
Equity Task Force
Walpole Public Schools Equity Task Force finished out the year with reflections and intentional thoughts on the continued equity work that will occur next year. Members took the time to celebrate all of the work that has been done this school year :

Living The Legacy of METCO
Living the Legacy of METCO
METCO Middle School Retreat
The theme of this year’s METCO Middle School conference was
character and leadership development. This year’s conference was held at the
Ron Burton Training Village in Hubbardston, MA on Friday, June 9, 2023.
The Mission at Ron Burton Training Village is to enrich the lives of youth in
the areas of dynamic character, leadership development, physical wellness,
social and educational advancement, and spiritual growth.
