Scholarship Opportunities
Briar Woods HS - Class of 2023

The largest amount of scholarship money is awarded directly from the college or university. This is the best (and easiest) place to start when searching for scholarship opportunities. We encourage you visit the websites of each college you are applying to learn about their scholarship/grant opportunities and need-based aid. Pay close attention to the due dates and whether there is an additional application requirement to be considered for merit-based scholarships. Many institutions also require you to complete the FAFSA and/or the CSS profile to be considered and may also have a deadline.
Additional Scholarship Opportunities beyond BWH & LCPS (some related to national associations or clubs) are at the end of this newsletter.
Remember to also utilize national scholarship search engines as you search for scholarships. There are many linked on the Scholarships & Financial Aid page of the Counseling Webpages.
