Dress Code Reminders
Last week, I went over the dress code with our 4th-6th grade students. We discussed that the dress code is a way to demonstrate responsibility, by teaching a level of professionalism you can expect at a job, and various settings as you get older. Also, that different environments call for different types of clothing. Jobs have uniforms, you would wear athletic clothes to the gym, a bathing suit to the beach, and adhere to dress code at school.
Any images, symbols, language, or writing related to discrimination, violence, drugs, gang representation or sexual activity/objectification is not permitted
Clothing needs to:
Conceal undergarments (no underwear out top or bottom of shorts)
Have shoulder straps of a minimum of 2 inches
Meet the waistline when standing
Bottoms need a 3+ inch inner hem. We use our best judgment.
Shoes must be worn at all times with toes covered and a back
