IAR TESTING
Thank you for a great week of IAR Testing. Our students took their time and did a great job. We appreciate their efforts and your support for our school.

VIKING OF THE WEEK
Kaline W.- as their Viking of the Week. Kaline comes to class prepared and eager to learn. Her smile is contagious and lights up the room! Kaline has a terrific work ethic, is kind to others, and is seriously a pleasure to work with. We love being her teachers and love learning with her. Keep up the good work!
Manny B.-6th grade teachers nominated Manny B. because he participates in his classes, completes all assignments, and has shown a lot of improvement in 6th grade.
Jocelyn M.- is doing great in health and keeping up with her work in her other classes. She has a great positive attitude.
Kelly K.-8th grade nominates Kelly K. She is a great student who participates in class and after-school activities, always gets her work done on time, and leads by example.
LUNCH
We are a part of the Summer Food Service Program, so any student can have a FREE combo meal. For IN-PERSON Students they will be given out daily, for our ELEARNING students 5 days worth of meals are available for pick up every Tuesday from 1:00pm-1:30pm and 2:35-3:00pm. Located at Door #2 (District Office Doors).

Lou Malnati's Dine Out
Mark your calendar! Lou malnati's is hosting a dine out on Tuesday, May 11 from 4-10 pm. Best part? You can dine at one of three locations--Oakbrook Terrace, Elmhurst or Downers Grove! Please see the attached flyer for details. Dinner is planned!!
REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER U IS NOW OPEN!!
INFORMATION FOR OUR RAMADAN STUDENTS
For Prayer time we will have students pray at 1:25-1:30 in the Library area designated for them.
They will leave class 5 mins early to head down if they are not in lunch at that time.

8TH GRADE GRADUATION INFORMATION
REGISTRATION FOR PRE-K THROUGH 8TH GRADE
- Early bird fee of $25 off (each child) ends June 10th
- Items can be returned by mail, blue drop box, or by appointment only.
- Payments can be made on epay (saltcreek48.org), check or cash (exact only no change)

Preschool registration is open! If you have a child that is eligible for preschool, aged 3-5, please contact the office to set up a preschool screening and to start the registration progress.
BAND AND ORCHESTRA UPDATES
NURSE'S CORNER
All students enrolled in Kindergarten, 2nd, and 6th grades are required to submit a dental exam form dated between 11/15/2019 and 05/15/2021 to the school by May 15th as mandated by the State of Illinois. Salt Creek School District 48 can withhold report cards for those students not in compliance with state requirements.
Please see the attached postcard regarding dental services provided by the Dupage County Health Dept. for those families that meet the income guidelines.
6TH GRADE HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
MEDICATION WHILE AT SCHOOL
If your child has a serious health condition that requires emergency medication while at school, please inform your school nurse and complete the required care plan and medication permission form(s). Medications cannot and will not be administered until these forms are submitted to the health office. See forms below.

Whether it be Math or English or any other subject we are here to help. Each session will be 30 minutes long on Google Meets.
