A Message from the Principal, Dr. Johnson:
Our wonderful Longhorns had a week full of exciting learning activities and fun. They delved into financial literacy during math classes, explored narrative nonfiction in RLA, learned about density in science classes, and discovered the geographic and economic developments associated with Canada and the US in social studies.
Next week, we have a surprise planned for our Longhorns that we can't wait to share with you. In addition to the surprise, our students will be taking benchmark exams in their RLA and math classes. These exams are an important tool to measure their academic progress and help us identify areas where students may need additional support.
We would like to invite you to join us for Bingo and Breakfast on Thursday (11/16) from 8-9 AM as we celebrate Parent Involvement. This is an excellent opportunity for parents to connect with teachers, staff, and other parents, while having fun and enjoying a delicious breakfast. If you are interested, please click on the link below to sign up. We look forward to seeing you there!
Enjoy your weekend!

A Message from the Principal, Dr. Johnson:
Our Longhorns had a busy week of learning and fun activities. Science classes made ice cream on Tuesday studying changes and the best part was that they were able to eat the yummy ice cream! Reading classes read Zoo Story and learned about root words including prefixes and suffixes and commonly confused words through Blended Learning.
A BIG THANK YOU to all of our parents that donated candy to treat our staff members. You're generosity is greatly appreciated!
On Thursday, students wore pajamas to support our George Ranch Longhorns as they slept away the Knights. Staff members were treated to a waffle bar since they were already in their PJ's.
Friday was the last day of the 2nd 6-weeks and House Color Out! CONGRATULATIONS TO THE HOUSE OF REVEUR!!!! REVEUR WON THE HOUSE COMPETITION FOR THE 2ND 6-WEEKS! Reveur students were treated to a pizza party including drinks and candy! Congratulations again to REVEUR!!
The 3rd 6-Weeks will begin on Monday, November 6th. The 2nd 6-Weeks Report Cards will be posted to Skyward on Thursday. Please be sure to continue monitoring your student's grades and email your child's teacher if you have any questions.
Enjoy your weekend!
