Half Year Insurance
The half year LTP Student iPad Insurance fee is now available in Infinite Campus. It will close on January 19th. Parents who wish to join the insurance pool for this year will need to make at least a partial payment within this window.
This insurance fee was added for every eligible student K-12 who does not already have insurance. Please note that half year insurance is also available to current students who did not opt into insurance in Fall 2023. However, we will need to inspect the iPad first to make sure it is in working condition before offering the insurance.
Spring 2024 Insurance: $12.50

Save the Date! THE INNOVATION FAIR IS BACK !
This winter, students in grades K-5 will once again have an opportunity to create something that makes the world a better place, to create an innovation that makes things easier for others, and to share their ideas with a large audience. The Innovation Fair will be held on March 13th, during the school day, followed by a Family STEM Night that evening.
This is not your typical science fair. Students can choose between completing an engineering design challenge, a traditional science fair project, or a Genius Hour project. Forms will be sent home with students after winter break, but links are attached if you want to get a head start! Students will have a chance to get supplies, if needed, from the STEM lab on Working Wednesdays (Jan. 24th, Feb. 7th and 21st, and March 6th). When they turn in their interest forms, they will need to select the dates they want to attend Working Wednesdays. Attendance is not a requirement.
Project boards will be available for $3.00 and can be purchased from me directly. If you have questions, please email me at Shaffer_jessicca@svvsd.org.
Thanks for your support!
