Ms. Kiser - 1st Grade Teacher
Ms. Kiser has been teaching first grade for 12 years. She is a fantastic storyteller and a famous brownie maker - students (and staff) live for brownie point day! Ms. Kiser enjoys playing soccer on an adult coed league (along with Mr. Millet), but most of all she loves spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Riekena - 1st Grade Teacher
Mrs. Riekena has been teaching first grade for 4 years at Central. She previously taught 2nd and 3rd grade and has enjoyed the transition to a younger grade. In her spare time, Mrs. Riekena loves to craft (she made the staff Halloween shirts!) and taking their jeep to Silver Lake to ride on the dunes.
Mrs. Mazzone - 1st Grade Teacher
This is Mrs. Mazzone’s first year teaching first grade at Central, but she’s been a teacher for 8 years. She and Mrs. Riekena used to teach together at a different school before reuniting at Central this year. Mrs. Mazzone loves reading and playing with her golden retriever, Rosie.
Nicole Erickson - Reading Intervention Specialist
Mrs. Erickson has been our Title I Intervention Specialist for 8 years. She is dedicated to helping struggling readers become confident in their reading skills. When she’s not at school, she loves camping and attending her children’s extracurricular activities, including marching band and various sports.
Mrs. Grossman - Title 1 Reading Teacher
This is Mrs. Grossmans second year teaching Title 1 reading groups at Central. She is a former elementary school teacher, so she has lots of experience helping children learn to read. She loves spending time with her husband and her growing children.
Mrs. Mosebach - Title 1 Reading Teacher
Mrs. Mosebach has been teaching Title 1 reading groups for 2 years. Her passion for reading led her to this position. She also loves gardening and spending time with her husband and 3 daughters and their assortment of animals: a dog, a cat, and lots of chickens!
