WAFL FootyFacts

waflfootyfacts.net has been improved in the offseason with the focus on including all match scores from the very first WAFL game in 1885 and extending the player database to include every player for every team from 1970. Additional stats and records have also been added as well as enhancements to the site navigation. Check out some of the new stuff below...

Now with complete player records for every WAFL player that debuted since 1970 (and every Swan Districts player ever) plus every goal scorer from 1929 now means waflfootyfacts.net has records for over 7600 WAFL league footballers. You can search our database for your favourite player of today, yesterday or a long time ago and see a full list of 'official' WAFL league games they played, check out their personal win loss records, records against each opponent and for every ground they played on and where stats are available see their game stats too.

You won't find a bigger database of WAFL players anywhere else online!

You can now drill down into each statistical category be it a season, team, venue or round record to help you locate the stat your after. Drop down menus on our records pages allow you to customise the records you want to view. There are literally 100's of statistical records to be found on waflfootyfacts.net, you'll be amazed at what you can find.

Enhanced navigation has been added to the site, as you drill down through the database searching for that stat you've always wanted to know, or you need to settle a bet with a mate, you can now easily navigate the site by using the 'breadcrumbs' at the top of the screen, these along with the navigation menu on the header can be used to find your way around waflfootyfacts.net

‪From 1885 to 1896 only goals were included in the total score, behinds although counted, made no difference to the final score, so a 2.4 to 2.1 scoreline would be a draw. Also goal difference was used to separate the teams on the ladder not percentage and teams were awarded two points for a win and one for a draw. WAFL Teams were only awarded four points for a win and two for a draw from 1897. In 1898 goals were worth six points and behinds were counted for the first time. On waflfootyfacts.net these little intricacies have been taken into account when calculating league ladders and records for these seasons.
