Mr. Posick's Friday email

Now that the school year is off and running, I wanted to remind you of the options you have to get information about our school. The weekly "smore" emails are just one method. We also have direct links to our own Twitter account (@mertonint) and Facebook page at the bottom of this smore. My website (http://www.merton.k12.wi.us/faculty/PosickJ/) also has a lot of information, including links to our daily announcements. Remind is the final application that I use to send out the smore as well as emergency information. All you have to do to receive text messages is text @mrposi to (262) 287-9360. And above all, if you can't find something, don't hesitate to call or email me.

Many of you are very familiar with Skyward and the calendar of assignments. This is the place to go to check on what your child needs to do. Getting into the habit of checking Skyward with your child allows you to celebrate their work habits or establish new work habits. I have included a pdf, thanks to Mrs. Iwanski, that helps you navigate the calendar in Skyward. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Beginning in October, I would like to have a book discussion with any interested parents and staff. The book we will discuss is Beyond the Bake Sale. Here is a link to some Amazon reviews of the book, but don't buy it! I'll get you a copy if you are interested in joining us. Deadline to sign up is Monday, September 28th.
