WOW! What an UH-mazing time we had last week celebrating “Love Your Brain” and the Fall Festival! We are SO thankful to all of our volunteers that made this community event a HUGE success. We are indeed #bettertogether.


This week is another fabulous week @theSprings. We will host our monthly SEL Dolphin Strong assembly and announce the Attendance Matters Rent Reward winner(s) for the month of October. Please remember that Breakfast in the Classroom (BIC) starts at 7:30 and the tardy bells rings at 7:40a.


“What’s Poppin with Principal Jackson” is on Friday, November 3rd. Join us in the Parent Support Specialist room or via ZOOM.


Our first Campus Architectural Team meeting will be held on November 6th.


Let’s get ready to start our #DolphinStrong week.

Last week, our Dolphins learned about how to love their brain through movement, belly breathing, sleep, and nutritious food! Together, we made "Brain Food" smoothies and had a blast! Check out the fun below!


This week, we will wrap up our lessons on kindness, friendship, bullying, and acceptance. Students will identify the difference between included and excluded, describe what included looks/sounds/feels like, and practice including others.


¡La semana pasada, nuestros delfines aprendieron cómo amar su cerebro a través del movimiento, la respiración abdominal, el sueño y la comida nutritiva! ¡Juntos hicimos batidos "Brain Food" y nos lo pasamos genial! ¡Mira la diversión a continuación!


Esta semana concluiremos nuestras lecciones sobre bondad, amistad, intimidación y aceptación. Los estudiantes identificarán la diferencia entre incluidos y excluidos, describirán cómo se ve, suena o se siente lo incluido y practicarán la inclusión de otros.

Central Texas Food Bank - Social Services

The Central Texas Food Bank’s social services team is continuing to assist clients with applying for SNAP (along with Medicaid, TANF, Healthy Texas Women, Medicare Savings Program, CHIP and CHIP Perinatal). We offer help with applications remotely and on-site. Our offices are located at 6500 Metropolis Drive, Austin, Texas 78744.


For the safety of our staff and the community we serve, we have implemented social distancing models and can see a limited number of clients at one time on-site at the Food Bank. To get help with applications on-site, please call our hotline to make an appointment first at 855-366-3401.
