Take Home Tuesday

Hello Cardinals and welcome to Holy Week! Tuesday of Holy Week is remembered as the day on which Jesus predicted his coming death (John 12:23-25). On Wednesday, this is the day we remember Judas betraying Jesus. It's traditionally called Spy Wednesday, because of Judas' sneakiness. Even though Lent officially ends before the evening Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday, we do not abandon our Lenten disciplines until Easter. The Tridumm (trij-oo-um) is three days long, from the evening of Holy Thursday to the evening of Easter Sunday.

We know that each of our Catholic families observe and celebrate in their own way. This morning at school Mass, Father Grewe invited the students to come to any and all of the Masses coming up. Please see the pictures below for more information.

We have three students who are considered close/direct contacts with someone outside of school who is COVID+. These students, being fully vaccinated, continue to be in school fully masked at all times (including recess, soccer practices and games, track meets).

We have our first confirmed COVID+ student since going mask-optional. This student's classroom has been notified and all individuals in that homeroom will be in masks for ten (10) days. This includes all recesses, soccer practices, and games.

We are doing a great job, even with these updates. Keep the good work everyone!
