Principal's Corner
We had a great full week of learning and building great relationships with students. I am excited to see the greatness that will come out of our school this year. We will have the LHS Open House on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 5:30p.m. This will begin in the theater.
Please join the P.T.A. We want to partner with you so that our teachers and parents are on the same page. We truly appreciate your support and help as we continue to strive for excellence at the FamiLEE.
Again if you have questions, concerns, or need to discuss something with me, please email me or call the school and speak with Ms. Smartt, administrative assistant.
If you need to send in absence excuses, please email Keisha.Hannah@hsv-k12.org.
I appreciate you all,
Kitrise Torain
LHS Principal

Shout-Outs
- Shout out to the Lee High School Football Team, Band, Auxiliary, Cheerleaders, and all the student supporters who came out as we took on Tuscaloosa County at Thursday's jamboree game!
- Shout-out to all the students who collaborated to run the Club Fair during advisory on Friday!
Shout-out to our Freshmen Students of the Week! Aalycia Humphrey comes to us from the Academy for Science and Foreign Language Middle School. Here at Lee, she participates in the Visual Arts Magnet, the Volleyball Team, and the Swim Team. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, drawing, and making videos with her sisters. After graduating from high school, she wants to go to Auburn to pursue a career as a veterinarian. Her favorite teachers here so far are Ms. Radowski because she is really chill and like a mom as well as Coach B because she is nice, tries to get everyone to be themselves, and makes everyone feel good. Patrick Hereford comes to us from the Academy for Academics and Arts Middle School. Here at Lee, he participates in the Theatre Magnet and wants to play basketball as well as be in theatre shows. In his free time, he plays the piano, basketball, and videogames. After graduating from high school, he wants to go to college to pursue a career as a chemist. His favorite teacher here so far is Ms. Simpson because she teaches his favorite subject (science) and she makes it fun. Shout-out to both of them for living out our #FamiLEE values so well!
