Finding Your Missing Assignments
A step by step guide.
Not all of your missing assignments will show up on your OLS page
PPOS offers a link on your OLS homepage to help you keep track of your missing assignments, however not all of your missing assignments will show up there.
Every Monday your teachers enter 0's in their grade book, if you have not turned in an assignment at that point you will receive a 0.
Students can still turn this work in, however it will not register as missing since there is a grade in the grade book. The reason we enter 0's is so that students have a realistic idea of what their grade is up to that point.
How to find your missing assignments
Do not rely on the missing assignment link to locate your missing assignments. Follow these steps to find what assignments you have not completed.
Step 1
Log onto the OLS and go into your "My Class" Section.
Step 2
Check the gradebook. When teachers enter 0's into the gradebook, the assignments will disappear from the "overdue" tab, but are in fact still due. If there is a 0 in the gradebook, that means it is missing.
Step 3
Click on your class. Once in your class shell click on the TOOLS tab at the top of the page. Then click on Assignments.
Step 4
Look at the list of assignments and locate the assignments with a 0%. These are the assignments that you need to complete.
Step 5
Click on the assignment name and complete the assignment.
Step 6
Reach out to your teachers if you have any further questions.
