Springdale Public Schools student athletes will mentor K-6 students at three upcoming Wild Dog Cross Country races.
The annual events will be featured as follows:
• Wednesday, Sept. 20 at Har-Ber High School
• Wednesday, Oct. 11 at George Junior High School
• Wednesday, Oct. 25 at Sonora Middle School
The first event of each race day will begin at 4:15 p.m. The event will feature a rolling schedule in the following order:
• Grades 5-6 Girls then Boys 1 mile
• K-2 Girls then Boys 0.5 mile
• Grades 3-4 Girls then Boys 1 mile
A one-time fee of $5 will cover student participation in all three events.
Participants must arrive 30 minutes prior to their race.
Medals will be awarded to the top 10 boys and top ten girls in every race!
Event registration forms and payments may be returned to school physical education teachers prior to any of the races or may be turned in at the events.
