Inclement Weather

It is that time of year! As of 2:30 PM, it does not appear that a late start tomorrow (Friday, January 15) at Blair Oaks will be a high probability, but a possible early release may be a consideration. No decision has been made at this time.


I wanted to give everyone as much notice as possible.


If school is delayed, cancelled, or released early, we will use the normal means of communication to notify parents and students.

At 7:28 AM on Thursday, January 14, the District was informed that an 8th grade student had tested positive for COVID-19. The District immediately contacted the Cole County Health Department and an investigation began to determine those individuals who may have been in close contact with the individual. The 8th grade student was at school briefly on Wednesday. As a result of the investigation, 4 students will be placed on quarantine. The District will continue to work closely with the Cole County Health Department. We will work in conjunction with the health department on the re-entry of the students into the community and school environment. Please keep in mind that the identity of the individuals will remain anonymous. We need to be respectful of the privacy of the individuals and families. We appreciate your patience.
