January 26th Update
Weekly newsletter for all things EHS

Community Update from Principal Griffin
Dear Erie High School families,
Thank you for your continued support and partnership with your student and our great school. It has been a great week at Erie High School, and I continue to be uplifted by the hard work and dedication of our students both in and out of the classroom, as well as the commitment of our teachers and staff to student success.
As we look ahead to February, I hope to see a great turnout of parents/families at the 2024 2nd semester Parent-Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, February 14th from 3:45 - 6:45 pm. Parent-Teacher Conferences are an important opportunity for our teachers and parents to connect with each other and to strengthen partnerships in support of student success. We hope you will be able to attend. We follow an open house format, where teachers are available in common areas throughout the school for check-ins with families. We ask all teachers and families to work together to ensure that individual conferences are completed within five minutes. We will distribute additional details regarding Parent-Teacher Conferences as we get closer to the event.
In preparation for parent-teacher conferences, I appreciate your partnership in encouraging your students to continue to pursue high levels of academic success. I have shared previously in my newsletter updates the importance of a strong start to the semester, and as we begin to settle into the middle of the semester, I encourage all of our students to pursue sustained success. One common area where students fall behind is in completion and submission of assigned tasks and homework. I encourage all of our families to maintain awareness of your child’s academic progress, which can most easily be achieved through our Infinite Campus system.
I hope that you and your family have a great weekend. Thank you for your continued support of Erie High School.
Sincerely,
Josh Griffin
Erie High School Principal
