Welcome Back, Staff

Staff gathered last Monday morning and were welcomed for the new school year by Superintendent Mr. Mitch Wainwright and School Board members. Superintendent Wainwright expressed the importance of positive attitudes. We have a group of dedicated and passionate staff ready to serve students!

Back to School Night

It was wonderful to see so many for Back to School Night last Tuesday! Welcome home! We are excited to see K-12 for the first day Tuesday, September 5 and 4K & EC on Thursday, September 7.

State Ranked

Free & Reduced Meals

Children need healthy meals to learn. Mineral Point Unified School District offers healthy meals every school day. Please apply for Free or Reduced meals to help ensure all children are at their best each day! A new form must be filled out each school year for those who meet income eligibility guidelines. Where in the World is #PointerNation? Autumn Robb's Home Environment Project was selected as Division Champion at the Wisconsin State Fair! She's also been part of the State 4-H Art Team this year and has been very busy with that.

Homecoming 2023

A reminder to mark your calendar for Homecoming 2023! The football game is set for the evening of Friday, October 6 vs. Parkview/Albany. The parade will be the evening of Thursday, October 5 followed by the Spirit Rally and crowning of the King & Queen. The dance will be Saturday evening October 7. Please join us!

Fabulous 50s

The annual Fabulous 50s pasty luncheon will be held on Homecoming Friday, October 6th at Noon at the MP UCC Church! This is open to anyone and their guest who graduated 50 or more years ago from MPHS. The cost is $15 per person and checks are to be made out to the Mineral Point Alumni and sent to Larry McNeill at 219 N Iowa St, Mineral Point, WI 53565. All reservations need to be in by September 22nd (capacity is 140). The Class of 1973 will be the honored class as they celebrate their 50 year reunion.
