Good Afternoon RPEL Families,

Wow! What a great first week of school. Our soft start allowed us to fully prepare our students for safety and learning for the upcoming year. We are looking forward to having everyone together this week. Thank you for your continued support!

Our school office is open from 8:00-4:00 daily. Please call our office 744-4777 with any questions.

Week 2 is a Full Week of School

All students attend Monday-Friday this week. Dismissal on Friday is 12:00 for our half day of professional development.
During morning arrival students will meet their teacher OUTSIDE at their designated location. Click Here for the map that shows the locations.
RV families will also be able to pick up food at the high school weekly on Mondays from 2-3pm. Use the Giles Rd parking loop.

We dismiss this Friday, September 18th at 12:00.

School Hours 9:00-2:30 Daily

Doors will open for the day at 8:50 am. Please do NOT drop your student off prior to 8:50 am.
Doors will lock for the day at 2:40 pm. Students will not be allowed in the building after this time.

Breakfast and Lunch in the Classroom

Great News! All students can receive free breakfast and lunch from the start of school until at least December 31, 2020. Important details:

Fill out your Free/Reduced Application. CLICK HERE. Even if you think you don't qualify, the rules have changed and other IMPORTANT school programs are based off of this information. Thanks for doing this!
Breakfast will be provided in every classroom beginning each day at 9:00.
Lunch will be provided in every classroom daily beginning at 12:00.
Rocket Virtual Students will be able to pick up food on MONDAYS at the high school from 2-3pm.

Drop Off / Pick Up Locations

All students who are dropped off at school need to follow these guidelines for a safe start and end of the day:

IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE CHILDREN, YOUR OLDEST ALWAYS GO WHERE YOUR YOUNGEST IS DROPPED OFF OR PICKED UP.
Students need to be dropped off in the at your assigned classroom door. CLICK HERE FOR MAP
Students need to exit the vehicle on the passenger side ONLY when the car is located near a side walk.
DO NOT drop your student off and ask them to walk in front of another car. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS.

The start and end of the day are likely going to be congested and some people may be less than patient. Please treat each other with grace, patience and understanding. If we all do this, OUR KIDS will remain safe and see a great example of how to react during stressful times.

Masks are required

They must be worn on the bus, in school and in the classroom. There will be mask breaks during the day, including recess and when eating breakfast and lunch. Please send your child to school with one that is fun to wear and comfortable. You might want to consider sending an extra mask, just in case. We will also have extra masks on hand.
