Report Cards: The grading cycle opens on Monday and will remain open until midnight on Jan 1st.
Records Day, Dec. 21st, is a 6 hour day. The earliest you can choose to start is 7:00 a.m., making the earliest you can leave as 1:00 p.m (without lunch). Otherwise, you can choose to work whatever hours you want as long as it equals 6.
Staff Meeting, Tueday, 7:45 a.m.: We will have the following guests/topics.
- Joel Cracchiolo and Brian McKenney to present on the budget
- Tara Sparks to present on our grant proposal process
- Eva Gallina and Kaitlyn Finke to present on lice
Thursday K-2 Learning Labs in the Creation Station.
On Demand Writing Assessments
I know this is a busy time of year but please make sure you are fitting in an on demand writing assessment for the end of your Unit of Study. This is important practice as we prepare our students for prompt writing on the MAP test. We want them to have experience with both extended writing pieces and quick prompt writing.
Monday
Get in the spirit of the season! Everyone can wear jeans with a red and/or green shirt.
Tuesday
Dream a Little Dream!Spend the day comfy in your PJ's. Holiday themed are even better.
Wednesday
National Cocoa Day! Enjoy a delicious cup of cocoa in the lounge.
Thursday
Peppermint Patties & Candyland! Everyone wear your favorite red and white (or even candy if you're creative). Those participating may wear jeans. There may even be a peppermint surprise in the lounge.
Friday
Celebrate! Holiday Party is after school at Helen's at 4:00 p.m.
Polar Express Festival
We are excited to host a Polar Express Festival at Concord on Wednesday, December 20th. Check out our tentative plans here.

- Thank you to Angela Dunsford for a wonderful strings concert for our 4th and 5th grade strings concerts on Thursday.
- WOW! Students and staff, you are all so generous! Every year I continue to be amazed at the incredible amount of items you collect for our Helping Hands campaign. A special thanks to Gina, Velina, Jennifer Abercrombie, Kara Shenberger, and Carissa Krupski for all of their efforts organizing this event!
