New for the 23-24 school year for 8th grade
As we approach the end of the 22-23 school year, we are starting to look at scheduling for next year. We have an exciting new opportunity for all incoming 8th grade students. Over the course of 6th and 7th grade, each student takes a quarter of Art, Spanish, STEM, and Computer Applications (STEAM). New next year, 8th grade students will be able to select two semester long exploratory classes to focus on. This will not only allow for students to be in a course of interest, but also allow for more in-depth work in the area of study.
Last week on April 18, students listened to a presentation from the teacher of each course and then completed a Google survey ranking the exploratory offerings in the order of preference. Students will be placed according to preference for the 2023-24 school year. Please note, we will do our best to give each student at least one of their first or second choices, but will need to fill all available course sections.
