A Message From The Principal
Thank you for your continued support. Students are getting closer and closer to the finish line. We will wrap up this rotation April 30th and enter into the last rotation May 3rd. Students should be accessing work daily and attending school regularly in order to complete their final credits of the school year.
Students grades 7-8th will begin ILEARN testing next week and a select number of high schoolers will be taking their Biology ILEARN. It is essential that they are at school on time to complete these state required assessments. Data gained from these assessments will help us to better support your students.
All Warren Township students were given the opportunity to participate in summer school classes at no cost. Information has gone out regarding how students in grades 7-8th can reserve their spots. Spots are filling fast so do not delay registering. The link has been provided below.
Seniors will need to order their cap and gown immediately. Graduation information has gone out and it has been determined that only students who have met ALL of the required graduation requirements will be able to participate in the graduation ceremony. Please ensure that students are checking their emails daily for updates on graduation and senior events. You may also reach out to our school counselor for more information.
Lastly, friendly reminder that all Warren Township school are still requiring students to wear face coverings while in the building and to wash/sanitize hands on a regular. Thank you for your help in keeping our students and staff safe.
Again, thank you for allowing us to serve your student.

Deans Corner ...Message from Mr. Z
Dear Renaissance Family,
Please take a moment to make sure you have access to the Parent Portal on Synergy and that your contact information is correct. Many times we need to reach parents or guardians and through the course of a school year, contact information can change. It is also important that we have the correct names and information of any other relatives or friends that have permission to pick up your student. This will also ensure that you are receiving the attendance calls on a daily basis. Finally, please feel free to contact me at your convenience if you have any questions or concerns regarding your student.

Top 10 Stress Management Techniques for Students (by Elizabeth Scott – full article)
Most students experience significant amounts of stress, and this stress can take a significant toll on health, happiness, and grades. For example, a study by the American Psychological Association (APA) found that teens report stress levels similar to that of adults.
Common sources of student stress include:
School Homework
Extracurricular activities Social challenges
Transitions (e.g., graduating, moving out, living independently) Relationships
Work
Many students feel a sense of needing to relieve stress, but with all of the activities and responsibilities that fill a student’s schedule, it’s sometimes difficult to find the time to try new stress relievers to help dissipate that stress.
These options are relatively easy, quick, and relevant to a student’s life and types of stress.
Get Enough Sleep Practice Visualization
Exercise Regularly Take Calming Breaths
Practice Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) Listen to Music
Get Organized Eat a Healthy Diet
Try Self-Hypnosis
Use Positive Thinking and Affirmations

District Covid-19 Data
MSD Warren Township COVID-19 data will be updated and shared each Friday on our district website which can be accessed HERE. Included in this data are the number of positive cases by school/facility as well as the total number of individuals (students and staff) who were required to isolate or quarantine. Individuals that are in isolation may or may not have COVID-19 and may or may not have been exposed within Warren schools/facilities. Isolation and quarantine are used to slow the spread of COVID-19.
**These numbers do not mean that a school or facility is unsafe for students and staff, rather that precautionary steps are being taken to protect all students and staff. We will continue to communicate with staff and families if they are identified as a close contact to a positive COVID-19 case.

New Student Information System-- Synergy
Warren is excited to announce that we have upgraded to a new student information system called Synergy. This means that our old parent portal, Tyler, will be going away. Instead, the parent portal will be upgraded to Synergy’s ParentVUE. ParentVUE is an online tool to help you monitor your student’s education. It allows you to update contact information and provides you with access to the latest information about your child’s attendance and scheduling. Our middle and high school families can view class assignments, report card grades, and course history with ParentVUE.
Once ParentVUE is available, parents who have a previous Tyler account will receive an email with instructions about setting up your new username and password. If you do not have a Tyler SIS account, please complete a registration form located on our parent portal webpage and return it to your school to begin the process of activating your account.
ParentVUE is a great way to stay connected with your student's school and track their academic progress. It also helps us stay in contact with you!
Chromebooks! Please Bring Your Device Daily!
In an attempt to keep students safe we are asking that students bring their individual devices from home to school daily. There will be no sharing of Chromebooks. Chromebooks will not be available in classrooms. Students will need to bring their devices, charging chords, and cases everyday to school.
