Broad Run High School's Monthly Newsletter: January 2024
Principal's Message
In the coming weeks, we will begin our course selection process. Teachers and counselors are meeting about courses being offered, and, in early February, students in grades 9-11 will begin the process to select their courses for the 24-25 school year. A significant amount of time is spent on this process. I want to encourage everyone to sign up for classes thoughtfully. Please understand that once our process is completed, changes may not be possible. We remind students and parents course selection is much easier in the spring than in the fall. Please let any teachers, counselors, or administration know how we can help.
Seniors will receive Capstone information in the coming weeks. Please continue to check the Class of 2024 web site for updates. We will meet with seniors on February 7 to go over important dates for the spring.
As always, thank you for all you do in support of the Broad Run community.
Dave Spage, Principal

Cup of Spartan
A Cup of Spartan is a student-run business that focuses on fostering inclusivity while creating an opportunity for students to develop essential workplace skills.
It is a place where staff and students can gather to indulge in specialty coffees and delicious treats while engaging in meaningful conversation with one another.
The baristas at A Cup of Spartan welcome you to come and visit them on B-days during Break through A-lunch.
