STEAM Wednesday!

STEAM = Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math


On Wednesday our fourth graders experienced a variety of hands on activities. They explored the STEAM bus where they were able to fly a drone and create small machines by completing circuits. They had to solve a variety of riddles and puzzles about the human body systems in order to BREAKOUT! They also explored technology tools including the Osmo and Bloxels. It was a great day!

Toys, Cards and More

Small toys, trinkets, and trading cards (Pokemon, Magic, etc) seem to be appearing at school more and more frequently. We have been asked to relay the reminder that these toys need to stay at home.

Math Learning

This week we explored arrays, played multiplication games and used our knowledge to design and "stock" vending machines. Please be sure to continue to practice multiplication facts at home.

Homework

Last week was our first week of fourth grade homework. Please know homework will come home every Friday and should be returned the following Friday. Thanks for supporting your child as a learner at home!
