TIC TAC TOE THINGY

Common Sense Education recently unveiled new lesson plans for grades 3-8 for relevant topics on Digital Citizenship. Two new topic categories, News & Media Literacy and Media Balance & Well-Being, address issues that are surfacing at many of our DPS schools.

One new feature for busy educators: all lesson resources are now available in G Suite for Education, including Slides, Docs, and Forms. For teachers looking to begin a SLO (Student Learning Objective), the lesson quizzes can be used to document learning before and after a lesson - see sample student quiz here. Common Sense also updated the Family Tipsheets, so teachers and schools can educate their community on good habits for safely navigating the online world.
